• In Primeira Praia Beach, the "Pedra do Moleque" has the best
wave of the island that with one swell of the East arrives to
break of 2 until 6 feet on a flat board of chorales.
• Quebrancinha: In left corner of Primeira Praia Beach. Beach
break of left, on deep of rocks and chorales. They only appear
waves when in the "Pedra do Moleque" the waves surpass the 4
feet. Waves of 2 until 4 feet.
• Quarta Praia Beach : Many exist points in the Quarta Praia

CAPOEIRA:

Professors and Pupils.
Currently, with the orientation of professor Carlito, the kilombolas
group of the Morro de São Paulo it comes developing a work that
rescues the traditions of the cultural dances of the Bahia.
The Cultural Show in them presents choreographies as "Maculêlê",
"Puxada de Rede", "Samba de Roda", divulging to the Brazilian
visitors and foreign a little of our history.
• Samba de Roda: Relaxed dance executed by the slaves, in
senzalas, in the hours of leisure. It is characterized for the
waving and sensual movements of the hips of the women.
• Maculêlê: Dramatical dance that commemorated the good harvest
of the sugar cane but also it served as half of defense of the
slaves against the feudal gentlemen because of its violent
characteristic.
• Puxada de Rede: Still present popular manifestation nowadays
in the Bahia. Through dances and songs, they beg the
Iemanjá, the Goddess of the Sea, for a good would fish.
The development of this work is part of an ample Project of the Kilombolas
Group of the Morro de São Paulo. The project has as objective to
give to education and orientation to the children and devoid
adolescents of this community through the art, searching the
identity in cultural raízes and valuing the citizenship.
